Scholarship Information

Application Timeline:

  • Apply before APRIL 1 of senior year of high school.

  • Scholarship winners notified at the school awards ceremony.

Eligibility:

  • Graduating senior; preference given to graduates from Big Foot High School

  • Post-graduate plans to attend college or a first-responder training programn Minimum 2.0 GPA

  • Record of public service

  • No conduct violations

Award:

  • Amount: $1,500

  • Quantity: two or more based on the number of qualified applicants

Instructions:

  • Complete the Big Foot Lions Club Scholarship Application

  • Mail the following documents to the Big Foot Lions Club

    • ScholarshipApplication

    • Personal Statement

    • Transcript

    • Letters of Recommendation from teachers, bosses or coaches (optional).

  • Deadline for submissions is May 1st annually.

  • Presentation of the scholarship is made by a member of the Lions Club during the senior scholarship awards ceremony.

Payment:

Students who receive the scholarship will receive payment upon completion of the first year of study. To collect payment, submit first year transcripts and proof of continuing enrollment for the second year. Students must be in good academic standing with a minimum of a 2.0 GPA to collect the scholarship. Payment is made after the first year of study.
